12 Aug Kansas Senior Games set to take place in Topeka
An exciting competition is about to go down in Topeka! The 2024 Kansas Senior Games take place Sept. 13-22, with more than 20 sporting events on the schedule. The tennis portion is Sept. 21-22 at Kossover Tennis Center.
To be eligible for the Kansas Senior Games, participants must be 50 years of age and older. The Kansas Senior Games is the largest multisport competition in the state for athletes who are 50-plus. Both men and women are encouraged to participate.
Players interested in registering for tennis must do so by Friday, Sept. 8. Fees are $40 for both singles and doubles; however, doubles partners must register separately. Individuals who compete in a state senior games in 2024 can earn qualification to the 2025 National Senior Games, which will take place within the USTA Missouri Valley in Des Moines, Iowa.
